Advisory, Carona, URGENT CNS Network Advisory
   Eds: Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona, his wife and alleged mistress
have all made their initial court appearances on a variety of federal
corruption charges. Carona and his wife, Deborah, were ordered to post $20,000
appearance bonds, while attorney Debra Victoria Hoffman was ordered to post a
$10,000 bond.
   Despite a request by federal prosecutors, Magistrate Robert Block said
Carona could keep his gun. Carona was ordered to surrender his passport.
   All three are scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
